This semester students working in groups of 4-5 will apply their knowledge in marketing to helping your organization seize a marketing opportunity, develop a strategic marketing plan, or solve a current marketing challenge. The students will use marketing research, strategy, digital promotional tools and marketing best practices to create a report and presentation.

Expected outcomes and deliverables
  • Students will submit a 10-15 page report including their research, analysis, insights, and recommendations.
  • Students will also submit a pdf slide deck summarizing their key findings and recommendations to share with your employees.
  • 15 minute presentation of key findings and recommendations.

Project examples

  • Marketing strategy review: Providing recommendations on what methods you can use to leverage and improve your marketing strategy, based on your organization's budget and current marketing strategy.
  • Marketing Mix strategy: Providing insight and recommending sustainable strategies related to the Marketing Mix (Product, Place, Price and Promotion).
  • Conduct external analysis (including customer, competitor, market and environment) as well as marketing mix performance.
  • Developing an integrated online/offline communication strategy.

    Provide a dedicated contact who is available to answer periodic emails or phone calls over the duration of the project to address students' questions (The best is to be able to attend a weekly office hour with the students about 15 min per team)
